Justin and I went to see Social Network over the weekend.

This movie is all about how facebook started, where the idea came from and the lawsuits that followed it.

It was a very interesting film, if you know the story behind how facebook started and he lawsuits, the movie is very different to it.

But it is worth going to see

Movie Review: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

Last night Justin and I went and saw

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World!

This movie was GREAT!!!

It is about a boy who falls in love with a girl, but she has a shady past with 7 evil ex’s (not all are boys!)

scott has to defeate them all to win her heart.

If you love video games, comic books, and teenage dramas, this is a movie you must see!

Movie Review: Toy Story 3

Last night Justin and I went to see the movie Toy Story 3 in 3D.

This was a great movie to end the series, you get to see more Andy and some of the kids. The little girl in the movie was so cute.

There was a good story, and as tipical the toys believe that Andydoesn’t love them. There are a few less toys, but our favourites where still in there.

They end up in daycare, and people with small kids will know what daycare toys end up like.

I love it, but do take the tissues, at the end of the movie it gets really sad.

Geek Pride Day!

Happy Geek Pride Day!

Now this is a holiday that I can be proud of….

How to celebrate this holiday is to be a geek. If you don’t know how to be one, here is a list of ideas you can do:

• Find your local comic book store, and find a comic book that opens your eyes. Find a comic book, that you will love to read. Some of my favourite comic books would be Batman, Sandman, The Spirit, Transmetropolitan, Green Lantian, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even Xmen. If want something that take a little longer than 5 mins to read, then get V for Vandentta, Watchmen, Sin City, but if you want Manga, Mega Toyko, or you dont want to leave the house try Cad-comics (http://www.cad-comic.com) These are most of the comic books in my house!

• Go to you local video/dvd store – science ficton moives are great! Have a sicence fiction marathon. Some of my favourites will be;  Aeon Flux, Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Robocop, Star Trek (any star trek movie and yes there is more than one!), Stargate (the original with James Spacer), Tron, Terminator, Logan’s Run, Soilent Green, The Day the Earth Stood Still ( original is better!), War of the Worlds, Star Wars, Matrix, just to name a few. I got a book for Chirstmas with sci-fi films you must see ( 101 sc-fi film you must see before you die)

• Everyone should have some sort of game console, Wii, Xbox, Playstation. I have all 3, I still wonder why I do. Invite your friends around for a game or two. But if you dont want to play video games or dont have a console, you can always play board games. Once a month Justin and I host a board game night, some of our favourite are Scrabble, Bloderdash, Pictionary Man, tipayatounge. They are loads of fun.

• Last one, go out to some where education and fun, like the Muesum or to Art Gallary, or even Imax. Here in Melboure we have Scince Works, which is loads of fun, (science works)
